The Journey of Spiritual Impartation (2min)

Paul told Timothy not to neglect the spiritual gifts that were stirred up inside of him as he laid hands on him. He also encouraged Timothy to wage a good warfare with the prophetic words that were spoken over his life. I want to encourage you on your journey of spiritual impartation! I want to share with you how you can step into a culture of impartation at your church, ministry or home!
1. Favor
Intimacy with God releases favor.
“Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord.” Prov 8:34-35 NIV

When you listen to His voice and are radically obedient to what He says, you begin to walk in His favor. People misunderstand what favor is in contrast to putting yourself out there. If you have to knock the door down to walk through it, you’re going to have to keep knocking down doors to maintain that favor. But if God opens a door in your life, no man can close it and favor will keep it open for the rest of your life. It will be a sustained anointing in your life. “Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. 2. Influence
Influence comes by faithfulness.
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52 NIV

God tests those whom He’s about to entrust with influence. God’s not going to trust you with crazy influence if you don’t know how to be faithful with little. I want to encourage those who are in the small beginning: Don’t despise the days of small beginnings. As you’re faithful with the small, it will release the platform.
3. Platform
So many people today only want the spotlight. They want to skip the small steps to get there. The only thing that’s sustainable is to work hard and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” Psalm 127:1 NIV
God wants to give you God ideas and God understanding. Out of a place of intimacy with Him, He wants you to obtain favor and from that place of favor obtain influence and finally platform.
I’m reminded of David, He was a captain of 50s, 100s, 1000s then all fo a sudden he was King over the entire nation of Israel. David was faithful the entire journey and he had a lot of things happen in between those stages. But out of intimacy with God and hearing His voice there was favor with man and God, influence and finally the platform that opened up his destiny!

I encourage you to be faithful with what God is doing. Get in the spirit and pray because God wants you to walk in favor from a place of intimacy with Him that will cause you to grow in influence and finally platform to release the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth!
